The rise of china, as a super power has become one of the most significant event in the world of global politics since the end of world war 2.china, with its size, location and unconventional methods to global issues has helped and contributed in reshaping the global distribution of power in the international community. The super power of the global world, United States is facing a significant challenge in responding to china's rising power and influence not only in Asia but also in Africa and other regions of the world (Alden, 2005, pp. 149)

The extra ordinary economic and political growth of china is transforming Asia and other regions, thus contributing to the future of global politics. With the passage of time, the china's economy is expected to grow, and therefore, it needs to expand its markets and capture more natural resources so that it can support its economic development. Therefore, China is trying to establish its foreign relations with Africa, so that it can develop its economic structure and also contribute to the development and growth of Africa. In the initial years, china was isolated from the global world. It wanted to establish relationship with china in order to expand its political and economical influence in the international world (Naidu, Corkin & Herman, 2009, pp. 98)

During the cold war period, china supported many liberations movements in the African region and established strong diplomatic relationship with the independent states of Africa.
