ABSTRACT
In this study we talked about how we can measure the self-esteem by observing the HFD i.e. the human drawing figure of children. This study will follow the secondary method of data collection and will be a qualitative research.

Self-esteem is the value we place on ourselves. It is based on the perception we have of ourselves and trust in our ability to be loved by our skills and our individuality. A good self-esteem means:

Children, like adults, benefit from good relationships, experiences and positive thinking. Many of the steps needed to develop self-esteem of your children will also be useful for the development and maintenance of your own.
As a parent, you have the greatest influence on the development of your children and their sense of worth. You are their main and most important teacher. Self-esteem is influenced more by the relationships they establish with other family members, teachers, friends and other adults. (Anastasi, 1988)
