Introduction

Having a child is something that is supposed to be an experience that is supposed to last a lifetime. Children need lots of attention when they are born, and they need to properly be taken car of. As sad as it is there is a large problem with child neglect and abuse (DeMarco et al, 2003). In the following paragraphs I will explain what abuse and neglect is, what makes it bad, and why I think my solution is best for this major problem in the United States.
