19th Amendment of the United States Constitution

The 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution was ratified on August 18, 1920. According to the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, no citizen of United States can be denied the right of voting on the basis of sex. The Constitution allowed the states to establish the qualifications for voting, and until the 1910s most states disenfranchised women.
