Kacee Dunavan argues that health care systems have deep relations with chaos theory. This is because she contends that unexpected occurrences are normal in the lives of healthcare practitioners. This comes with the nature of the work. As such she argues that linearity should not be expected in our lives, much less in healthcare. Chaos theory primarily aims to motivate its believer to expect unnatural occurrences as a part of the natural order. As such means and ways ought to be devised that can handle such unforeseen contingency situations (Sullivan, 2012).
