Introduction

Causes of death are different among different localities. One location which may have severe weather conditions can have a particular type of disease prevailing in the area. Another factor which influences particular type of diseases is gender. Some diseases which have equal chance of affecting any gender show certain affinity to particular gender such as breast cancer in women and heart attacks in men. This paper will explore these factors and will test the assumptions underlying the different causes of death. This paper will aim to explore the research conducted nationwide regarding mortality rates with respect to the top ten causes of death. The information was collected using the reports from the database of Center for Disease Control.

Literature Review

World Health Organization (WHO) maintains regular disease records around the world of diseases from which people are dying. Especially in developing countries, these diseases in the industrialized countries, now has completely disappeared, or at least modern medicine can cure these diseases as people in industrialized nations have access to proper health care. In affluent countries, but people tend to die of his lifestyle diseases, such as gout or diabetes consequences. The following are the ten causes of death and a list of the most common diseases in the world in according to 2010 estimates.

Coronary Heart Disease
