1.Does this case makes sense to you? Why? Why not?

This case does not make sense to me because of a number of reasons. First and foremost, the basis of employment set by Duke Power Co. was irrational. They discriminated between the white and black employees and offered the white employees good designations in the company. The hiring and placing policies that they followed were completely baseless.
