Case Study: How Roche Diagnostics Develops Global Managers

Discuss who is responsible for producing global leaders.

Being a global leader can be great and hard thing, as well. You have the control to modify things, but you do not have the control to modify people. Global leaders are responsible for making their employees feel supported. They have an enormous impact, be it positive or negative, in the entire industry. Initially, the responsibility of developing and producing global leaders is for the educational institutions (Gupta & Govindarajan, 2002). The educational systems should develop and polish the leadership qualities in the students in various different ways. For example, assigning group assignments to the students and assigning a leader in each group.
