Executive Summary

Software production in our country is a young science which has rapidly driven by the development of computer science at the universities of our country and institutions arising due to the Ministry of Informatics and Communications (MIC) with "the objective need to promote, facilitate and manage the massive use of services and products of Information Technology, Communications, Electronics and Automation to meet the expectations of all spheres of society." 

This development in software production has stimulated the founding of the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI), which is expected to be rapid progress in Information Technology and Communications (ICT). 

The quality assurance has become a priority need for organizations that develop software because as technology advances, more demanding software quality currently required by the companies responsible for measuring quality, and meet these quality requirements of the methods most used by developers is the process of development of Software Testing. 

Today, one could say that software testing have become easier and harder at the same time. Software testing is more difficult by the large number of programming languages, operating systems and hardware platforms that are involved. Software testing is easier, in some cases, operating systems and software, are much more sophisticated and provide intrinsically good test routines that can be incorporated into applications without the need for the programmer to develop from scratch. (Myers 2004) 

From Software Testing may be done as a given system are the unit tests. On the frameworks that can be used for their development within the free software world, will focus this investigation. 

Introduction 

Currently the software test is used in all industry developments, being inconceivable that a customer receives a software system that has not been tested. Despite its enormous impact on the cost of development is one of the lines of work that many developers still see classifiable as an art and, therefore, as difficult to conceptualize. 

In the world there are many methodologies for software development, but certainly all have implicit test development process, which is focused on the goal of finding software defects, it can be for reasons of debugging or acceptance of same. 

The overall objective to be achieved to comply with this work is: a study of frameworks for the development of software testing. 

Hence, to fulfill this general objective, specific objectives derived from the following: 

Definition of concepts involved with the issue of Software Testing. Investigate on the steps for unit testing. Investigate on the existing frameworks that use the programming language C + +. 

Arrive at chosen framwork conclusions from experience.

Software Testing 

Test or Software Testing is a procedure carried out to identify possible failures of implementation, quality or usability of a program. Basically it is a phase in the development of software whose aim is to test the functionality of the application built.
