Introduction Patient's Wellbeing is influenced not only by disease but also by its management. Several patients are dissatisfied with the management of their problem which make them frustrated specifically because of perceived treatment ineffectiveness. In this paper we are going to create a patient treatment plan which will include Bach Flower and Aromatherapy because the female patient believe that she get frustrated because she several treatment approaches are not beneficial for her health. The treatment plan is will be based on case of a patient who is facing variety of problems. Initially in this paper we shall provide concise summary of the case then treatment plan will be discussed. After that we will critique on evidence for possible effectiveness on an aspect of naturopathic intervention and in the end conclusion shall be provide summarizing entire paper. The purpose of this paper is to let readers know about the importance and role played by effective treatment plan in well being of a patient.
Case Summary This is a case of Female who is Black, single, and 32 years old. She is a part time student and full time worker at mental health. The problem with the patient is that she feels stressed at work and finds it difficult to manager everyday activity because of her health. She was cross referred to naturopathy. The patient has premature birth. When she was 13 she experienced angioedema urticarial (hives) and Angiodema which are triggered by stress still after every three years. When she was 17 she had strong Post Menstrual Symptoms which have increased with time present till today. These symptoms cause sharp and cramping pain in her lumber area to left patella. She complains that she get exhausted and before and during her periods. Because of PMS Sysmptoms she experiences anxiety with palpitation and nervous tension which is linked to high stress level. In addition, she is suffering from IBS (irritable Bowel Syndrome) and anaemia. She does not sleep well. She had hormonal imbalance. She had unresolved emotional issues.
Treatment Plan
After reading the case it was figured out that the female patient has two main problems which need immediate treatment. One is Post Menstrual Symptoms and other is emotional issues caused by hormonal imbalance. In this part of the paper we are mainly focusing on these two issues. The aim of this treatment plan is to improve her well being and health so that she could feel brighter and Symptoms of PMS could be reduced. Post Menstrual Symptoms is a type of disorder that happens after completion of menstrual cycle of women (Engel & Wasterlain, 1982, 584). This happens because of presence of one or more hormone induced irregularities in 2 weeks after completion of period.
Symptoms of this disorder include pain, dramatic mood swings, dizziness, constipation or diarrhoea, severe crumps, loss of appetite, back pain etc. All these symptoms were observed in the patient. There are various ways of treating this patient ...
