This paper deals with case of a patient suffering from Cerebrovascular disease. Cerebrovascular disease (CVD) refers to any brain abnormality, product of a pathological process that compromises blood vessels. It is the most prevalent disabling neurological disease of the adult population over 65 years and the third leading cause of death. In international studies the prevalence is 800/100.000 inhabitants with an annual incidence of 100-270/100.000 and an annual mortality rate of 100/100.000 (doubling the rate every five years by age increase). The purpose of behind this case type is the increasing Cerebrovascular diseases in people. Cerebrovascular disease (CBVD) unfortunately is one of the most common causes of death in United Kingdom. According to NHS every ten deaths is due to a CBVD usually a stroke. In addition 46,466 people died in England and Wales in 2008 because of CBVD. This paper will let readers know about the adverse effects on this disease on people along with priorities of care. According to World Health Organization stoke is a medical condition where the blood supply to the brain is disturbed. It was decided to choose stroke as the subject to this essay because it impact population in different ways like socially, physically, and economically majorly due to the long term of rehabilitation which costs the national health system in UK about £15 306 over 5 years for one patient and, when informal care costs are included, the amount increases to £29 405 (Youman, 2003, 12).

A 70 years female woke up with right facial drop, weakness in the right arm and leg and dysarthria along with history of high blood pressure, she was brought to the emergency. It was diagnosed as lift frontal lobe infraction. Her daughter told that she was well not well from past few days and was not eating well. The vital signs were taken in emergency department. Blood pressure was 197/119, Pulse 90, Respiration18, temperature 37.
