The case is about the CEO of the wholesale furniture company “Eminence style”, which had to face a lot of financial loss due to the changing situation of the market. First the value of the dollar began to lose as compared to the euro. Second problem was that her contract at Sears lifted the company at the key stage. Moreover, lastly, the Chinese took over the market, by reducing their price and in order to compete with the market and to remain competitive Eminence style had to reduce the price as well. Due to this situation they had to face financial loss as there profit margin decreases. The company fall short of credit and was getting closer to going default. Her partnership with her mom was faltering.
