Case 1: Reducing Delays in the Cardiac Cath Lab

This case is concerned with the reduction of the delays at Cardiac catherization labs that is the representative of a significant capital investment for many hospitals. In order to meet the challenges of realizing the return on this investment and the maintenance of fiscal health, the hospital has utilized various strategies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and change management. The DMAIC used in the project has been systematically developed and implemented.
