Introduction: In this paper, we try to focus on the five important issues that consider in caring for an infant. In this paper, we have selected five articles. Each article is representing its importance in caring infant.
Article 1: Fathers' and Mothers' Reports of Involvement in Caring for Infants in Kadazan Families in Sabah, Malaysia.
Brief Description: The maternal and infant health is intimately connected, and many countries have made improvement of both a priority. Despite great progress on a global scale, there remains a large gap between wealthy and poor countries on basic indicators of maternal health.
Importance of the Study: infant weight loss and infant height is directly with the depression that is maternal depression.
Methodology: This research of this article is cross sectional research that has been taken through interviews and questionnaires.
The article represents that depression affects a woman's ability to care for her, which may increase the risk of premature birth or delivery of an underweight baby among pregnant women.
Suggestions for Health care Providers: Health care providers should take care and look after the infants so that the mothers recover to normal.
Article 2: The Contribution of Prone Sleeping to the Racial Disparity in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome: The Chicago Infant Mortality Study.
Brief Description: Parents were surveyed by telephone to determine the prevalence or infant sleep disturbances. Sleep problems surveyed included resistance in going to bed, waking, and night crying.
Importance of the Study: problem in infant sleep is the intimation of negative sign, that should not be over look.
Methodology: This research is conducted from the secondary sources. The study of these research outcomes has been investigated through the statistical analysis.
Provides Significant Support: Nighttime awakenings are a normal cause of the sleep pattern of every individual. The problem then is not of awakening but of failure to return to sleep.
Suggestions for Health Care Providers: Health care providers should highlight the sleep problems in infants to parents so that they take proper care of child.
Brief Description: The infant Population needs an effective intervention that is both safe and cost-effective for pain reduction during immunizations.
Importance of the Study: The other main important issue to consider in caring for an infant is the proper care for their immune system.
Methodology: This research of this article is primary research that has been taken through interviews and questionnaires.
