Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ASX: CBA) is one of Australia's major banks, ranked one of the four major banks in Australia, based in Sydney. In the Australian Stock Exchange listed , international character is a financial services company, the group owns and manages total assets of approximately 4,287 one hundred million dollars (About us, 2013).

Commonwealth Bank of Australia had initially is Australia's central bank , under the jurisdiction of the Federal Commercial Bank (Commonwealth Trading Bank) and the Federal Savings Bank (Commonwealth Saving Bank), respectively, deal with commercial banks and savings banks' business. 1950s national central bank functions from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia isolated system, set up a separate Reserve Bank of Australia (Reserve Bank Australia), the Union Bank in 1984, inherited the name of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Chapman, 1998). Currently, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia under the jurisdiction of the Federal Reserve Bank, the Federal Development Bank (Commonwealth Development Bank) and New Zealand ASB Bank. March 10, 2000, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and CMG Insurance Group announced the merger intentions, May 31, 2000 cooperation program approved by the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, June 13, 2000 Commonwealth Bank of Australia successful acquisition of CMG Insurance. After this acquisition merger, Commonwealth Bank of Australia Group became Australia's largest financial institutions, and to become the world's 20 largest financial institutions.

The mission statement of Commonwealth Bank is to provide services to its customers, value to shareholders, maintains social contribution, and valuable experience to employees. The main focus of the company is to attract customers by the mean of its value business with its customers. The mission of the company aligns with my career goals as my preference is to offer valuable and satisfactory services to my clients or customers. The company seeks to provide services through on-line leadership and innovation, which they achieve by employing outstanding teams. I am an adaptive to company's goals and missions and set my goals accordingly. Successful employee is one who aligns his goals with the company's goals and mission (Schaltegger & Wagner, 2011, p.230). I am a team player and can lead the team as well, when needed. As a team player we need to align our goals with company's goals and work in harmony to achieve success, which I get to learn from my favourite game Football.
