Introduction

Choosing the right career is often one of the most difficult tasks for an individual. One has to consider the interest of an individual and the required needs of the market, to choose a specific career, so the individual could excel in the chosen career. As I am very much inclined towards accounting thus I would like to take accounting as my major so that my works become my passion and thus I would be able to achieve much more than pursuing a career which I have less interest in.

Choosing the right career requires analysis of various factors including interest of an individual, future market of such a profession, kind of work an individual would be doing and future benefits of such a profession. As indicated earlier in the course of this paper that I would like to take accounting as my majors, as I want to work as the Auditor or Financial representative thus accounting will assist me in my goal to be achieved.

Moreover, I choose this career path as the field tends to interest me, as I have always been good with math and more specifically business math. Moreover, it will offer me great career opportunities in terms of employment that propelled me to choose this career. In order to analyze this option I intend to answer some of the question so that my choice becomes much more evident and allows me to keep a track of my plans so that I could work with much more focus.

Educational Requirements

It is important for an accounting graduate to be good at business math in order to understand the ever evolving market. The candidate must have a habit of reading various magazines articles that I will like to do so. In order to ensure that it injects me with the required mechanism and gives much firm grip towards my career. I plan to craft my carrier in the field of accounting and intend to work as an auditor. In order to so I intend to take accounting as my majors so that I could lay a strong foundation for CPA.CPA is translated as Certified Public Accountants as the foremost part of this job is to conduct audits and locate the areas which need to be tightened in order to ensure transparency.

However, CPA will only develop the foremost tools needs although I need to update myself regularly in order to compete with the latest trends, market, and my competitors. Therefore I intend to attend various seminars related to the topics of accounts and auditing in order to further enhance my skills. It will not only help me but will also help the cause of the client I will be addressing. Although as an auditor it is essentially important to be aware of the latest markets trends and the political situation of the country (Dave, Doug, Stan & Ed 2003).
