Capturing the friedmans is an Oscar nominated documentary which was originally set out to make a film about children clowns. The story is about a family where David had been caught along with his two younger brothers, in one of the most shocking cases of child molestation which came up to the US courts. The documentary shows Arnold, the father of three who was a high school teacher and a pianist who had been found to possess a variety of adult magazine consisting of child pornography. Arnold conducted computer classes at home with his son Jessie assisting him. The police suspected Arnold's act and after finding porn material at home, they came to a conclusion that a man with these sorts of fetish and strange hobbies would not be a good computer teacher. Without any physical evidence the police questioned the workshop students and several of them reported of having been abused by the teacher and his youngest son.
