It is apparent that online music piracy is a huge threat to the music business and impacts the overall industry. Intellectual property is recognized globally, however, it is often pirated knowingly and unknowingly. The music industry is particularly affected by the piracy. Earlier channel of piracy included copying others work and copying music illegally on cassettes, CDs and DVDs.
