Abstract

This paper attempts to highlight the concept of business protocol and its role in establishing the successful image of business by adhering with the business code of conducts and the set of rules that governs the overall business conducts which includes the way people interact within the businesses, with customers, clients, suppliers, attitude within and outside the organization. The business protocol is the set of manners, customs, code of conducts, and rules of appropriate behavior required in the business world which are basically enforced by the people working in an organization. It includes the behavior like how one treats with others, general office manners, representations during meetings, following the dress codes, and deliverance of business image to the clients, and outside the organization.

The paper indicated the several advantages of applying the business protocol which illustrated that it is the useful business tool which helps in boosting up the business, professional relationships, environment, revenues and profits. The paper has also expounded the tips and rules of the business protocols which are considered as the essence of any successful business.

This paper intends to expound the concept of business protocol along with its importance in the corporate world, advantages, disadvantages, and rules. The business protocol is also termed as the business etiquette which is actually a broader term that attempts to highlight the several aspects of business. Everything from behavior to task execution comes under the perspective business protocol. In simple words, business protocol can also be understood as the business guidelines which are defined at the time of hiring the employee that aims to extenuate the terms and conditions of company's protocol. On the other side, it also defines the expected behavior and expectations for the individual actions within the work place that lead to pleasant work environment such as treating the subordinates, employers, and coworkers with courtesy and respect. The business protocol is considered as the formula for conducting the business in the required professional fashion which may be set of written and unwritten rules of conducts that makes the businesses smoother based on the underlying ethical codes (Smith, 2010).

Since the business protocol is the set of manners, customs, code of conducts, and rules of appropriate behavior required in the business world which are basically enforced by the people working in an organization.
