Business Idea

The business idea is that of launching a fine dining restaurant in São Paulo, Brazil. Restaurants play an important role in the communities that they operate in (Baird, N., 2003, p. 1). The location has had many fast food restaurants which have been doing lucrative business in the locality. The restaurant will serve the families of the locality with fine dining cuisines. The menu will be unique and will be changed on a weekly basis. The restaurant will have a live cooking environment with the customers able to see how the cuisines are prepared. The name of the restaurant will be “Fine Dine at São Paulo”. Fine Dine at São Paulo will be more than just a food serving restaurant for the customers, it will be an experience that will fulfill the social needs of the customers (Robson, S., n.d).

Our mission

The mission of our entrepreneurial plan will be to provide excellent fine dining experience that will serve to be the best fine dining experience for the citizens residing near the locality of São Paulo. The dining atmosphere will be pleasing to the senses of the customers and will provide a live cooking environment that no other fast food restaurant provides in that locality. The employees, particularly the waiters, will be trained on providing the customers with exceptional service. The mission of the restaurant would be made concise and will be communicated to every employee of the restaurant so that the customers experience what is promised to them (Cunneen, C., n.d).

Financing of the venture

There can be various sources of financing a restaurant like, Loans, Initial Public Offerings, Private equity, Mezzanine loans, equipment leases, and Hedge funding (RFDC, 2012). The financing will be undertaken by a group of investors who will invest £100,000 on this business idea. The amount invested will be used in the purchase of equipments and assets needed for the business idea to be executed.

The Dining Menu

The restaurant menus serve the purpose of notifying the customers as well as the waiters of the prices and the cuisines served (Baiomy et.al, 2013, p. 1). There will be two menus available for the customers. One will be the family menu which will have many cuisines available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The prices charged will be reasonable so that we attract many customers. Besides the main menu, many other side dishes, appetizers, desserts and wine will be served to the customers. The fine dining menu will serve the customers with special connoisseur cuisines that will be very appealing to the customers and will provide the customers with ultimate fine dining experience. The waiters will take feedback continuously from the customers to know about their experience and food needs and the fine dining menu will be changed every week to meet the changing needs of the customers.
