Introduction

Leadership is the capacity to control, to implement great strategies, to create contra opposite authorities in power, to build trust and to be followed towards the goals. Leadership comes from the top of the organization chart. The followership is the opposite thing, comes from the lower ranks of the organization, and it is the ability to know follow the guidelines, to make that extra to make things work and be able to reach the goals that leaders have set, but it is also more, it has to do with the ability to create a team that manages to be effective and efficient, and that ultimately allows the leader to get where it directs its strategic direction (Van Vugt, Hogan & Kaiser, 2008, Pp.182-196). This paper discusses followership in a holistic context.

Discussion

According to Carsten the actions of followers in common does not deal with the followership spirit. Instead, it deals with the relation between the leaders and their disciples. In this sense, the actions of the followers does not relate solely with the conduct of followership (for example, how they manage their work or relationships with colleagues), but specifically concerning attitudes towards the leader, such as the way in which followers accept any liability in respect of its leaders, how they communicate with the leader, how they deal with problems in relation to the leader (Carsten, 2010, Pp. 543-562).

Following are the features that people have with followership:

Motivation to do a good job. Being motivated means having the right charge, and do what we like and want to do well. Go beyond expectations.

Technical capacity. You have to know what you are doing; you have the right knowledge and preparation for the work that is required of us.

Partnership with the customer. It has to do with empathy, and with the notion that we need to create situations where you win in two. The customer is the person who receives our service or input, so it can 'also be the boss or a colleague.

Reliability. Must be reliable, the boss or colleague must be able to count on us in times of need.

Sense of humor. A smile never hurts, release tension and am always happy to be able to exchange a few words with someone who can joke also is not a secondary factor to create team spirit.

Behavior and professionalism. Appropriate behavior, polite, always be dressed in the right way, get to appointments on time, be prepared for what is to be done is the significance of this point.

Positive working relationships. Having positive relationships with colleagues, clear and sincere, avoid gossip and everything that creates tension and friction

Express their opinion. Followership does not mean we always say, it means to know also need to make self opinion, of course constructive opinion.
