Introduction

The aim and objective of this assignment is to review a holiday package which is being offered by STRAND TOWER HOTEL of CAPETOWN. Being working in an advertising company, I have to review all the offerings of the package according to the Australian Business law. The task of this assignment is to evaluate the brochure of the hotel which is an offering to the general public about the holiday packages of the hotel. After discussing the pros and cons of the brochure, a reported will be compiled to be presented before the management which will highlight any possible problem which can occur after the printing of the brochure. The nrochure which has been selected for the analysis of this assignment has been attached in the appendix at the end of this assignment.

Strand Tower Hotel

The Strand Tower Hotel is situated in Cape Town which is a 4 Star hotel and offers accommodation and conference facilities for businessmen and tourists. It is situated at the prime location of the city just only few steps away from the business centre of Cape Town. The hotel offers all the facilities including indoor and outdoor games to the tourists and travelers. Currently, the hotel is thinking to launch holiday packages mainly targeting foreign tourists. In this assignment, we will evaluate the offerings which the hotel intends to make to their customers and discuss in the light of Australian business law.

Key Information about Holiday Packages

The Strand Tower Hotel is offering holiday packages of 3, 5 and 7 days along with various incentives such as, free pick from airport to the hotel, Champagne on arrival, breakfast, lunch and dinner, family tour, massage, evening entertainment including musical nights, movies and free babysitting services. It is also offering free services for kids in the package such as free ice creams, games like jumping castle, table tennis, and fooz ball, video games, disco, kid's swimming pool and free popcorns. Kinds under the age of 8 years are free. Kids above 8 and below 17 will be charges only 50%. The packages are starting from R4500 up to R9500.

Critical analysis of the packages by Law of Contract

According to the law of contract which prevails in Australia, the holiday packages which are being offered by the Strand Tower Hotel are an offering to the people who want to enjoy quality time with their families. Anyone who wants to avail the offer is welcome unless he or she intends to pay the price on which the holiday packages are being offered. The services which the hotel has offered in their brochure should be available otherwise; the customer can sue the management of the hotel in case of failure to provide any free service which it has promised in the brochure.
