Punitive Damages Standards

The terminology of punitive damages refers to the punishment and according to the penal theory; the crime committed by the suspect should be aligned with the punishment being levied. This punishment would be according to the crime being committed by the suspect; however the principal is modified to a great extent when the detection of crime is to great extent very minimal.
