Introduction

In today's rapidly changing business and technological environment, events play a significant role in business growth. In fact, events are considered as the modern means of communication when talk about business or about any social context. Meanwhile, it is very important to know that holding and managing any event requires a sound knowledge of event management. However, planning and integration of the event are considerably the two of the core components for event planning (Turner, 2012). In order to tort any successful event one must need to learn that good planning is completely pivotal. Planning any successful event not only requires a proper planning that how we are suppose to manage the things required for it, but it also entails the anticipation in order to prepare yourself for any potential chaotic and frantic situation that might arise during the process of managing event.

For a well organized event to manage, the process of development of the overall strategy is considerably important along with the integration of the specified plans for very special areas including the event security, logistics and transport planning as well as the protocol and security of the invited guests and celebrities. While designing the overall strategy of the plan we must need to incorporate the ideas of how important planning is before designing any business event. Therefore, it is considered very important to set and define objectives and overall tasks for all the key areas that are to be managed and assign these key areas to an individual who will then be responsible in dealing with assigned tasks (Toole, 2000). This study is about how one can organize a business event and what the key roles needed in the process of event management. Business event management involves a complete process of steps and procedures through which the event planner is capable in handling the tasks defined in those steps.

Event management field has been emerged with many leaps and bounds over the passage of time. In today's environment, event manager has taken the reins of being a professional field where meticulous planning and religious implementation is required for the successful staging of events. The event manager is generally the person involved in coordinating and monitoring the intricacies associated with the event (Thomas, 2008).

The importance of planning

While managing the business one must need to incorporate the planning process initially. This is only possible when the planner is aware of how important is the element of planning is while designing the event plan (Thomas, 2013).

The planning phase is the time in which all the elements of the event created, generated, assessed and established in the two previous phases must be reorganized into detailed work plans and specific. When planning activities are detailed along with the individual operational actions, which involves the timing to undertake such work, human and technical resources, the financial plan, control instruments, the process of planning would be properly encountered (Sirk, 2013).
