Barrick's Tanzanian project

To begin with the discussion, we shall first look into the details regarding what is defined as deontological ethics. Deontological ethics implies any act that has been conducted and done in the light of rules and objectives that have been coined in alignment with rules and regulations posed on the Divine note. People following this rule generally look at duties and policies, with which that all actions must be done legally and promptly with proper compliance of rules coined by the organization. In the case mentioned above, stealing is one act that is simply intolerable in any context.

Core problem of the company

For centuries or since the inception of Earth and mankind, people have been born or at least compelled to follow ethics, thereby making it a crucial form of life. Be it be people coming from royal dynasties like the Yang Dynasty prevalent in China or the people belonging to the Roman Empire, all have looked to the values and norms in ethical conduct and paved way for the application and implementation of ethics in their respected lives.

To understand the problem, the Barrick's Tanzanian Project is concerned due to the resistance of the company towards the guerilla groups and troops which are threatening the people working upon the development of the site. For starters, Barrick's operations in Tanzania are rather controversial with people working constantly towards extracting and running the mines dry of some of the best and high-quality gold that any company could get their hands on.

Definition of the Core Problem

In the midst of extracting and producing gold, nearby invaders and terrorist groups have come, labeled as 'invaders', who imply that it is their right over the minerals and resources extracted from their land. The conflict and clashes that pertains to exist between the two is rather controversial, since each is involved in the midst of proving their own individual rights and gaining their own advantage.

To look at from the invaders' point of view, in their eyes, excavations and selling the land to different countries around the world is evil. For them, it is sabotaging the communities that dwell and live around the mines, as the articles refer to the case of a farmer named Magige Nyamhanga. To look at it this way, the ruling, although has resulted in many deaths and casualties, but holds weightage, since the people living and residing have been adversely affected with the bombings, the noise and the excavation. With the expansion of the mine, placements and movement of those to different places has become a common practice; however, Barrick's company has not delivered any form of effective and heavy compensation, which could contribute for the development of the society.

To look at from the corporation's point of view, Barrick is determined and tenaciously working, along with his team members to gain the resources, as the company pertains to deliver improved quality and quantity of life to the people ...
