Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to define the strategy which could be helpful in maximizing the leadership effectiveness. As per the statement of Schermehorn, (2011), Great leader get extraordinary things done in organizations by inspiring and motivating others towards a common purpose”. The leaders play a key role in the success of the organizations. It is the leaders of the companies and other institutions who motivate people towards achieving the common goal. Therefore, it is not unfair to say that leaders are the key element behind the success of any organization.

Leadership Theory in Supporting Plan

Ethical leadership is considered to be an important leadership theory to support this leadership plan. The ethical leadership is mainly based on the fact that the organizations should work for employing the ethical practices within the organization so that it can help in motivating the employees towards working in an ethical manner (Ciulla1995). However it is also suggested in the researches that ethical leadership is expanding in the organizations and various organizations are restructuring their strategies of ethical behavior imposition. Ethical leadership is that leadership which is mainly based on building the various characteristics of grace, trust, integrity and honesty (Keith 2010). Ethical leadership is needed everywhere; in public and private organizations, and in educational and non-educational institutions.

Leadership Strengths & Weaknesses

There are different leadership strengths and weaknesses identified. The main strength of leadership possessed is the communication. Effective communication is the main strength of leadership and it is necessary that the leader should have the quality of effective communications. The weakness of the effective leadership is the lack of trust and confidence. It is necessary that the leader should possess the quality of developing the trust and confidence with team leaders.

Description of business situation of legal and ethical issues

This section highlights the business situation of the current event which has led to the legal and ethical issue. The business situation to be described in this paper is the harassment of the female staff by the manager of the organization.

Analysis of ethical concerns raised by the situation

This section provides the description of the ethical concerns which have been raised by the situation. The ethical concerns presented in this business situation related to the harassment of female staff and the discrimination. The female discrimination is not allowed as the ethical perspectives. It is necessary for the companies to incorporate the company laws and regulations that provide work place safety to the female staff and punishment for the male staff who is convicted as the victim of such acts. Thus, it is unethical behavior to harass the female staff either sexually or verbally. As per the law, the female staff should be given the same rights.
