Interview Rationale

The interview questions that have been made use of are:

Could you introduce yourself and your business in a few words?

In 2012, only 30% of entrepreneurs are women. What, in your opinion, the difficulties faced by women who want to undertake?

How do you reconcile private and professional life as an entrepreneur?

What advice would you give to entrepreneurs who want to start their own business?

The interview questions are developed to extract information in relation to the entrepreneur. The first question will highlight who the entrepreneur is in terms of her background. Her background will highlight how she attained the knowledge, skills and abilities and at the same time developed the competency she has that led her to initiate this business and become an entrepreneur. This question will also extract information about her business in terms of how she goes about it. From order taking to processing and then to developing a tangible quality oriented product. It will also highlight the degree of hard work and efforts that the entrepreneur has put in to be where she is today. It will also highlight the the factors that led her to develop the business.

The second question will answer questions in relation to the kind of barriers that the entrepreneur faced and what sort of barriers were they. She will also highlight the way she took actions to counteract the problem that she is facing.

The third question will aid in analyzing the kind of barriers that the entrepreneur faces in personal and professional life and how has the entrepreneur tackled such barriers with highest motivation and enthusiasm and continued to perform in an effective and efficient manner delivering the promise made to the customers in a consistent manner.

The fourth question indeed asks the entrepreneur about the advise that she can give to the potential entrepreneurs but at the same time also highlight the kind of obstructions that the entrepreneur faced and at the same time also the kind of strategies that the entrepreneur has implemented which has been given as a suggestion to the potential entrepreneurs.

After the conduction of the interview the answers will be assessed and at the same time there will be a cohesion and synthesis of data which is crucial when it comes to undertaking an interview which itself is a small scale research on entrepreneurship. To effectively accomplish this interview, the extraction of data will be done on common themes such as the qualitative method which makes use of the narrative synthesis. A Critical Interpretive synthesis will be developed to review the questions asked in the interview.
