US Army and US Navy has purchased Chemring Detection Systems from Chemring Group

Chemring Detection Systems has been purchase by the US army and navy for $49 M. This system will be provide automatic detection with airborne biological agents identification with low levels and set off warning systems for local and remote areas and thread information communication through standard communication systems

Charles Taylor has extended their offices. Charles Taylor Insurance Services office has been opened in Italy

The reason to open this office in Italy was that full range of services can be offered to Italy market due to growing demand of specialist insurance services in Italy especially for run-off claims management.

Subsidiary of Chemring Group, Alloy Surfaces Company has announced contract with Royal Australian Air Force worth of $2.9 million for manufacturing of MJU-50/B and BOL IR i.e. decoy devices.

Lawrence D'Andrea president of Alloy Surfaces Company said that they are very happy to receive this contract as this expresses their confident in their company and the Delivery scheduled for October 2012. Beside this, having this order represent BOL IR decoys second largest production in Australia.
