Introduction

The article called “Thank You for Smoking” was authored by Peter Brimelow. This article cannot in be termed as an influential essay by any mean since it openly proclaims that people should smoke. Brimelow believes that smoking is not injurious to health and that people should continue smoking if they are planning to quit. I disagree with Brimelow's proclamation that smoking is not injurious to health. At the same time, it is difficult to comprehend how the harmful effects of smoking be ignored so conveniently.
