Introduction

Environmental Science within construction industry covers the science, technology and services that relate to the comfort of humans and the environmental performance of construction industry. This paper explores four key areas of Environmental Science, a knowledge of which is essential in all disciplines within the Construction Industry. This paper is useful, at all levels, to students and practitioners of architecture, construction studies, building services, surveying, and environmental science. Covering a range of topical areas including climate change, carbon and energy management, sustainability in construction, and sick and green buildings, this remains the key introductory text for understanding the principles and theories of the science behind environmental construction. Key areas of environmental science that have been explored during the research are Thermal Comfort, Heat Losses / U Values, Heat Gains, and Acoustics / Noise levels.

All the countries of the world are running after making their business organisations according to the requirement of the global business requirements. Therefore they are working for adopting those rules and regulations related to all the business activities that are applicable in the world's best leading business organisations. The system of business law in most of the developed and developing countries is based on such laws that are common in all, this is the main reason that global business environment has helped in creating better influence on all the business activities. An organisation that is existing in any particular country has to follow all the rules and regulations that are imposed on business activities otherwise it would not be allowed to do business in that area. In the same way globe is considered as an area where organisations can do business openly by abiding the globally set business laws (Tallman, 2001). All the organisations needs to follow rules and regulations that are commonly accepted in around the globe and they have to respect all the countries laws otherwise these organisations would not be able to do business activities globally.

An environment that is found in various sovereign countries that includes factors different from the local home environment of the organisation is known as global business environment. In this kind of business environment the decision making activities related to capabilities and resource usage is influence by the global business style and techniques.
