A number of researchers today have taken an interest in the study of Neuroscience. The knowledge and understanding about how brain works has lead to a number of findings on how the brain actually learns. Researchers from a range of disciplines have also been concerned in the neural basis of learning and thinking. In the era of renaissance, researchers like Rene Descartes were surprised how the brain as a substance organ could relate and make contact with the irrelevant thing called the mind. Later, the behaviorists were amazed by the probing deficiencies that at times take place when an individual undergoes brain injuries.
Serious deficiencies such as paralyzing of some body parts and loss of memory are the greatest dysfunctions recognized after the brain has been injured. In the late 1800, a research was undertaken by few psychologists regarding how the brain rules to mind, but given that it was not a matter of concern to a number of psychologists less interest on investigating this study area grew. In late 1980s, the difficulty of studies in the field of cognitive science brought together a number of scholars from different disciplines to discover cognitive psychology and neuroscience. This paper is based on how the brain learns support differentiation in the classroom.
Discussion
The word differentiation implies a procedure of the lesson plan where the teacher or instructor varies strategies to progression, content and product in reaction to and prospect of learner differentiations in learning needs, readiness and interest. Brain based learning elucidates how the research of the brain is based on differentiation (Kandel, Schwartz, & Jessell, 2000). In a classroom environment the teachers who plan their lecture to equal the learner's promptness work most brilliantly on eradicating boredom and frustration in the process of students learning (Rushton, & Juola-Rushton, 2008). Cognitive examination on the brains proves that human brains functions by focusing to significant information. The focus of brain on the important data leading to its functioning is the reason for the survival of human on earth. Human brain has an understandable way of making and distributing received information from either internal or external parts of the body. According to Davis (2004) students who are rushed by the information that does not go with the data they have in mind, their brains look for a proper set of associations to make sense or understand the significance ...
