The topic of this paper is related to Haiti. Haiti is a homeland that simultaneously has a wealthy annals and a worried past. As the first free very dark republic, it stood as a emblem of wish for those battling against slavery and colonial oppression in the 19th and 20th centuries. Many of its creative individuals and instrumentalists are world renowned. The indigenous adaptation of Creole and the belief of voodoo underlie a heritage that is vibrant, layered, and powerful. It is a homeland of stark topography and resilient people. Citizens reside in a diaspora disperse over the globe, but stay constantly attached to events at home. (Robert 2007)

The presenter stated that in Haiti there were two million people who were homeless by the 7.0-magnitude quake.
