Introduction

This paper is a book analysis of “The Passion of the Western Minds”, author Richard Tarnas. The third and fourth chapter of the book states that Tarnas does a great job; it is a daunting task of identifying the roots, which evolved from the ancient Greeks, through the birth of Christianity, middle Ages, the Enlightenment and the birth of the modern world.
