Blessing and Coaching Children



Abstract

When two persons become parents, there are a number of concerns that are running through their minds regarding the physical and spiritual protection of their child. Parents can effectively bring up their children following the teachings that are written in the Bible and making their children understand and follow them this will make the parents less worried about the proper upbringing of their children, and the children will be brought up in exactly the same way as God would have wanted. It is important that the children are taught on the part of the mother and father about the things that are associated with the God like the creation of the universe and the teachings that the God wants us to practice. It is important that the little ones are not despised and they are provided with all the necessary education that they might need to understand God, His teachings and the many things that are associated with Him. This paper looks into the responsibilities of a mother and father when teaching the child about the ways and teachings of God.

Blessing and Coaching Children

Children are one of the quickest learners. They are the ones who try to make a sense of the world and they try to deal with all the things in the world in the best way that is possible. There are many children who lack this ability and they need counseling from either their parents, or some experts. Children also need help from their elders, as well as, the experts who can tell them about the kind of behavior that is expected from them. The children also need help of the elders and experts because children are not experts and they do not have any experience regarding the good and bad in the society as compared to the elders who have a wide experience of the world (Louw, 2011). The adults have experienced of a number of things in life and have experienced a great deal of problems, as well as, trauma in their lives that can be helpful in bringing up their children. The role that the mother and father and father play in the upbringing of a child cannot be ignored. It is the duty of the mother and father, as well as, the father to teach the children and bless them with all their heart. The importance of blessings has been one of the most discussed topics in bible that is related to children. It is important that the parents know the importance that the God has laid in blessings to be given to children. Moreover, it is more important that the children are blessed using all the ways and techniques that have been described in the Bible. The mother and father need to work together to bless their children in the most efficient way possible and teach them about their God and the blessings that He has bestowed upon them.
