Introduction

This discussion will give consideration to the most most important literature relevant to the subject area of Birth Control. In order to do so adequatly, the discussion goes beyond the viewpoints expressed in the abstracts and presents a review of the most important findings while confronting the authors' points of view. In the process, the discussion gives consideration to the degree to which the authors show enough evidence to support their hypothesis.

Discussion

In the first article titled The meaning of “control” for childbearing women in the US, the author emphasizes on the identification of birth control as a broad discussion and somewhat controversial. It discusses the issues in child bearing women in the United States and concepts underpinning birth control. This is a qualitative study of analyzing the meanings of control within the context of birth narratives. However, the results from different interviews evaluated “you can't control birth”. However, these findings have suggested meaning of control under the domain of birth as self-determination, attachment, personal security, respect and knowledge. Therefore, the report encourages birth control for improving maternity care and measuring quality.

The term birth control has been referred to as self-determination which is women's desire of determining courses of action in her birth, within the context of her body, the environment and decisions. Undoubtedly deployment measures of birth control can be the foundation for the solution of various problems that plague today's society in United States. Regarding environmental problems, we can find some solutions if we reduce the amount of people automatically diminish consumption. Water, for example, which is the major problems of this century, could be more spared to decrease the number of people that need this feature will have more reservations and launch less debris in nature, reducing pollution. Control over one's life is one of the main objectives and achievements of modern culture. With a low margin of error, women in United States can control their fertility to space the births of their children or even prevent them.

In the second article titled The Impact of State Abortion Policies on Teen Pregnancy Rates, The author has argued that unwanted pregnancies among the teenagers can be insured provided with abortion, which is the only method of birth control among pregnant women. However, restrictive abortion policies in the state have accumulated the reduction in likelihood of unwanted pregnancies. The report presented the impact of State Abortion Policies on Teen Pregnancy Rates. The findings of the research evaluated that unprotect teens sexual activity is affected by the abortion policy restrictions.

Policies encouraging fertility have been characteristic of times of war. For example, in the years after World War I, European countries undertook reforms to promote procreation providing grants to mothers who were devoted exclusively to the care of their children and directing campaigns exaltation of the mother figure and function social motherhood.
