Introduction

Senate Bill 736 refers to Education Personnel. The bill is a complete edification personnel program that gives for a restructuring of the assessments of instructional human resources and school supervisors; reimbursement; and service performance. Senate Bill 736 accepted in the House on March 16, 2011, and approved the Senate on March 10, 2011. The bill was accepted by the Governor on March 24, 2011, chapter 2011-1, Laws of Florida, and becomes successful July 1, 2011. In August 2010, Florida was rewarded a $700 million centralized Race to the Top grant. Grant finances will be employed to build up performance assessment schemes that are at least 50 percent based upon learner learning development; help regions in getting evaluation for subjects and grades not tested on statewide assessments; develop value-added student learning growth formulas for subjects tested by statewide assessments and development models for reviewing subjects and grades not tested by statewide assessments. Evaluations must distinguish among numerous performance levels and must be employed for service choice. Regions must also build up instructor reimbursement structures that bind the most important increases in pay to presentation. 62 school districts, 224 charter schools in 29 districts, and three university lab schools have signed official commitments with the Florida Department of Education to put into practice and apply these restructurings. The funding ends after the 2013-14 school year.
