Abstract

In this paper, we will be discussing the experience and the difficulties that are faced by an immigrant in another country. Also, the paper will be based on the background and foundation of Belka Enrichment Center, which has led improvement in the immigrant community for youth and children to learn while maintaining their interest in education. We have mentioned why it was important to build such center for the immigrants. In addition, the methodology and the time line have also been discussed that represents the idea and its formation.

Introduction

A new website has been created for the Belka Enrichment Centre, which is an innovative community program for youth that was initiated by me in the Jane Finch neighborhood. In this paper, the website for Belka Enrichment Centre will be discussed in detail that why the Belka project was emerged and how it continues to develop in the future. The development of the website was based on the interest that I had for the use of available technology, such as a website that can be used effectively for sharing information about Belka, both locally and globally, through the ready access of information by the website.

The experience, which I had as a graduate student in the Faculty of Education's unique Firgrove Pilot provided me with the opportunity for situating my assigned work in the Belka project within a broader framework of educational research on youth, especially with the immigrant families that are living in marginalized urban communities. The main focus of this paper is the immigrant communities that came to Caanda from an under-privileged background.

Migrations is not what it was in the past, when uprooted nostalgia and forgetfulness were some of the characteristic features of these movements. Today the situation has changed, with the improvement in the quality and intensity of communication between those who leave their societies of origin. Both the sharp decline in the prices of telephone calls and air tickets (and more often) as the explosion of the Internet have revolutionized the lives of immigrants. However, this improvement is only one aspect of the daily life for those who for various reasons, have been forced to leave their countries. They and their families, here and there, face a large number of problems and issues that plague their personal progress and impose strong arguments on the success of immigration processes to developed countries as Caanda.

The paper will also be discussing my experience as an immigrant that has motivated me to create the Belka project. Many educational theorists have also been referenced in this paper those have strongly influenced my ...
