I've changed that title for this essay not only because I think Pask participates in the conversation of mankind as the voice of poetry and the voice of science and the voice of practical activity, not only because I think his theory participates In a discussion of both art and science, but also because I think his work would contribute to the conversation of psychotherapy to make. Moreover, civilizing votes needed to be heard as distinctive and differentiated voices in a conversation of psychotherapy and psychotherapy is to hear and be heard in practical, scientific and poetic voice in the conversation of mankind. Difficult things that Pask was that each voice conversation is open, as Oakeshott (1991, p. 492) put it, "an exclusive concern with his own statement, which can result in the identification of a conversation with himself and his speaking as if only to themselves speak. And when this happens, barbarism can be seen to have supervened.
