Introduction

“Necessity is the mother of invention,” the initial requirement of technology was more as a need while the technology improved it became an accessory of life. Internet is one of the technologies which are criticized for its negative use; however, it is now an addiction which is not easy to be left unnoticed by any of the internet users. Many of the websites have impacted the use of internet but no website has been as influential as facebook because it addresses to all generations.

Facebook is a latest trending phenomena which is accessible from everywhere and keeps the interest of its users by offering them various facilities such as gaming, chatting, stalking and video and picture uploading. In order to analyzer the influential the role of facebook as a technology in my life I used it for three days and the next five days I refrained from the use to analyze how important it is in my life.

Discussion

As I was using facebook frequently for three days it was hard to imagine a life without facebook as I was checking my facebook profile page after very hour or so for around 15 minutes and if there was some notification I would spent a lot of time upon that (Gao & Wu, 2013). As on Tuesday I got a message from an old friend who is now residing in Australia when I started to talk to him we wasted around two hours but after that day I decided that I will restrict my use as I need to analyze the life without facebook.

Friday onwards I reduced my use of facebook and for the next two days I didn't visited my facebook page, the impact was a mixed one as the first thing I noticed afte6r opening an internet browser ...
