My name is Eugenio T. Jimenez. There was one thing that always made me distinguished in my family was my desire to serve in the military. I was so keen to get into military and serve my country in one way or the other. I have always been determined in what I want to achieve. I have led my life under strict discipline which made my career as a military man successful. My father always believed that I would do something commendable for my country someday. Both of my parents knew that I have this desire to serve my country and they believed I will serve my country no matter what circumstances may come. My mother used to say that I will make the whole family proud one day.

My urge to serve my country increased when one of my uncles died serving in air force. It was a huge accident that took place; his airplane got crashed during some training session. Initially, I planned to continue my profession as a military policeman and obtain my bachelor's degree within the time span of my six years contract with United States Air Force. However, certain developments like Iraq and Afghanistan wars made it difficult for me to meet my educational goals. When I completed my six years contract, my motivation to gain education in the field of criminal justice was gone.

During my years as Military Policeman, several incidents took place which made me interested in information technology. I remember a particular incident when I and my few team mates were faced with a situation where we had to retrieve certain information from huge information systems installed in one of the departments within the premises of our office. None of us was able to retrieve that information on time because of our lack of knowledge. This was really embarrassing for my team. We had to coordinate with some other team to retrieve the information. However, this incident and few others, made me interested to gain knowledge about information technology. I finally decided to change my ...
