Autism is a disease caused by abnormal neurological development during the period of maturation of the brain. This syndrome belongs to family of pervasive developmental disorders. Autism encompasses a spectrum of disorders that affect communication skills, socialization and empathy of the person (Eldevik, 2007). Autistic people have a personality turned in on itself in a pathological way.
