Introduction

In the film studies the auteur theory plays a major role. In film studies there are multiple subjects and the students have a command over the topics that are studied during the film study it is the guide of studying the film and celebrate our desire to understand the film (Nelmes, 2013, pp.1). The auteur theory is the way of appraising and reading films through an author imprint it usually meant to a director. The father of auteur is Andre Bazin he appreciated the view of world and the artist style like Charlie Chaplin and Jean Renior. He has focused his attention to the studio of the Hollywood and European era. After the world war two they had restrictions for a number of years. The American film makers were working within the types of Hollywood films and film restrictions. The major artist in the cinema was Howard Hawks, Alfred Hitchcock and John Ford. The French critique had justified their appreciation of Hollywood films they have respectable French scheme. The auteur involved scripting and fashioning the material. In the French mainstream the Hollywood films are being criticized. The personal styles and preoccupation leads the film director to his own rights. The notion of Auteur theory derived in 1960 by Andrew Sarris. In the history of filmmaking the career and work of individual classify them according to their respective talents (Auteur Theory, pp.1).
