The Outback Lawn Bowling Club Inc. is a non-profit organisation which owns and manages bowling greens near the opal mines in Coober Pedy. The club's membership is constituted of workers from the mines. The club sells a range of food and drinks to members from a clubhouse next to the greens. All money raised from memberships, and from the sale of food and drink is put towards a modest salary for the club manager, Max, and to the upkeep of the greens and clubhouse.
