The Role of Attitudes in Job Performance

Introduction

Attitudes are also said to be the continuing systems of beliefs. They are temperaments to act in conformity or nonconformity with an approach, human being, experience or specific circumstances, which take place in everyday life (Alcantara, 1992).

There are three different levels of attitudes

- Cognitive (the way a person thinks or reasons)

- Emotional (the way a person feels about an attitude)

- Behavioral (the way a person acts on an attitude)
