What is the "occupying Wall Street" movement?

OWS is a protest movement that happened on the Wall Street Financial district near Brokyln, New York. Protestants gathered from all around the city to demonstrate multiple act and claimed their rights. They were mostly students and old people that were concerned about their future. The blamed the government and financial organizations which has lead 99 percent of the U.S population ruled by the 1 percent powerful people. The wall street movement has been given a name to the incident that happened on 17th of Nov, when people moved and protested in the streets of Financial District and New York Financial markets. However, the local media didn't took any interests while people were suffering and slept in the streets to promote the movement. The first video showed that many people have gathered and supported the protests for their future, which includes the noble and prosperous people who have served the government but however, the government failed to provide them any support (Occupy Wall Stree Video, 2011). The were concerned about their kids because the government doesnot give equality to all.

Among many issues lifted up by OWS movement were economic equality, corruption, greed, social and the undue manipulations of organizations on government. The aims of the OWS movements are clear under the slogan that we are 99 percent, which means that they claim the wealth and income to be distributed equally to all due to the reason that 1 percent of the U.S population owns most of the wealth and property and the rest are suffering due to them.
