White privilege is a cultural advantage given out to people with the color of skin white. Tim Wise have elaborated with a historic example of white people sarcastically privileged their race over the colored for their less involvement in the war. Only white people were allowed to join the civil service and the colored were not able to have the privileges white had serving the civil service, which is a genuine example of it.
After the video I can understand his phenomenon even better with the examples of his grand father who owned properties that were more than one which has helped their family up till his education. White even being anti Semitism owned property and his grand father passed on assets and wealth so that he could live a white life in New Orleans which most of the people cannot do. Inherited property passed on was something only a white could do because colored couldn't afford it.
