Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of IHRM in a holistic context. The focus of the research is on retention of employees and its relation with IHRM policies. The research also analyzes many aspects of employee motivation, retention, learning and tries to gauge its effect on avoiding attrition. Finally, the research describes various factors, which are responsible for attrition, and tries to describe the overall effect of IHRM policies on employee retention.

Singhania and Partners are dealing in the field of law. Mr. Ravi Singhania is the Managing Partner and Ms. Manju Mohotra Singhania is founder and CEO of Singhania and Partner. Its amongst the largest full-service law firms in India. The Law industry has been facing the challenge of retaining people and the sector has been growing exponentially due to relaxation in Indian laws after 1990. The organizational strategy as per the managing partner Mr. Singhania is Pro-active and aggressive.
Mr. Singhania believes that the when an individual foresees a problem than they must be preparing for the problem from today. Singhania grew up as an individual learning the fact that customers are the King and the employees are the biggest assets of any organization. Singhania was already well versed with the practice of law because of the practice of his father and he knew already the pros and cons of the law firm and how to manage the company.
The liberalization of the Indian Economy provided an advantage to the Singhania and he capitalized that advantage. A lot of work came from oversees and the Singhania & Partners became well versed in international law. Taking advantage of the opportunity, they foresee they opened an office in New York in order to cater the internal law needs. Singhania hired a litigation lawyer though there was no need of litigation lawyer, but Singhania saw the opportunity and filled up the resource to cater the need.
As soon as litigation lawyer was hired, Daewoo came up with a litigation case providing a jump-start to the litigation services. Singhania Collaborated with 50 Lawyers and Counsels across India in order to meet the increasing needs of the clients. The policies are designed in a way, which stated that the company's services must be providing value to the customers.
The core components of the strategy's success are the foreseeing ability of Mr. Singhania and the distinguishing factor. Mr. Singhania already had vast international experience in the field of Law. Mr. Singhania instead of marketing asked for the referrals which were more credible than the marketing itself because ...
