5-6 years: Children at this age are very egocentric, meaning they have of themselves as a starting point, but exhibits the same time a great desire to want to socialize with other children. Children like to explore things and are constantly active. They thrive best in small groups and have a strong desire to feel accepted and to belong to this group. At this age also developed the desire to be first, to be the best at what they do. Many of the children would like to compete in everything they do. They are often self-confident and have a great trust in other people. At the end of the period, children develop a greater ability to cooperate and have it easier to absorb other people's opinions and values. They also begin to free themselves more and more from parents and are role models outside the family.

6-9 years: Children begin to seek attention and recognition for their accomplishments. The interest to be with other children in teams and groups will increase significantly. They like to do things and accomplish tasks perfectly. Children at this age often find her best friend and do not like to be alone. Group loyalty is growing stronger. They show a great interest in being involved in activities that feels challenging, they want to be just like her friends in many different ways, e.g. dress, appearance and way of talking. Liberation from the family really takes off in this age and teachers, coaches and friends are becoming more important in their lives.

 10-15 years: Young people are growing more and more away from the egocentric thinking and develop a better way to give things from others' ...
