Introduction

It is the familiar phenomenon that learning takes place through assessments, and assessment is very necessary for teachers to evaluate a student. There are different assessment methods which a trainer or a teacher can adopt in order to give the best results. This paper describes the different assessment methods which can be used in different ways.

Discussion

It is necessary for a teacher or trainer to adopt the equitable assessment methods to provide the best assessment to their learners. Any effective and honest assessment requires clarification as follows: a) the various evaluation criteria to be used as a reference, i.e. as a standard for rating the performance of the duties assigned to staff evaluated. b) The sources of information that can demonstrate compliance with the evaluation criteria. c) The functions of the various officials and agencies responsible for the evaluation. d) Full procedural guarantees, among others, include the absolute knowledge by the person assessed of the criteria and information considered in its evaluation, and sufficient opportunity to provide any information it considers relevant (Anderson, 2006, p. 34).

Knowledge

Following are the two assessment methods I would use for knowledge:

1) Formative Assessment

On the one hand, this formative assessment, as its name suggests, aims to ongoing staff development are evaluated in order to help you advance professionally, provide both maximize their strengths and reduce weaknesses, and support your effort build his career within the institution (Duckworth, 2005, p. 26). I would use it to measure the knowledge gained by the learners.

2) Summative Assessment

The second approach, called summative, refers to an assessment by the institution to identify the people best qualified to be retained and those whose work should be recognized excellence through promotion in rank and the granting of stays. This is the culminating assessment of administrative decisions on the contractual relationship between / the employee / ay the institution. I would use this method because it is very helpful in conducting best assessment.

Skills

Following are the two assessments methods used for checking the skills of the learners:

1) Practical Assessment

In order to check the skills of the learners, I would go for the practical assessment which is the best tool of determining the skills of the learner (CRESST, 2004, p. 67). Through practical assessment, I would gain the knowledge that how much knowledge students have grasped.

2) Verbal Assessment

This is another assessment method for measuring the skills of the learners. Through verbal assessment, I would come to know that how much skill a learner has.

Attitude

Following are the two assessment methods used by me in order to check the attitude of a learner.

1) Personal Judgement
