Introduction

Yeardley Love's murder in 2010 gave rise to different sentiments among public. A girl name Yeardley Love was brutally murdered by his ex-boyfriend George Huguely. Proceedings of the case show that Huguely was an alcoholic, aggressive person and was also obsessed for Love. The murder might have been the result of domestic violence. This paper will analyze that if Yeardley Love had been exposed to abuse before, how would counselor assess and identify that abuse considering the fact that apparently the couple was not in touch anymore.
